COACH BERRY

Coach Berry's passion for lifting began at the age of 12 when he began strength training at the local YMCA to help him excel at sports. His love of sports and desire to succeed led him to training at the prestigious gym, Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning; the only gym of its type at that time. He started coaching at the age 20 when he took over as the Offensive and Defensive Line Coach for the Wakefield High School Freshman Football team. While he was training in the gym, several athletes approached him about training for football. This led him to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Salem State University. While in college he interned and then was hired to work at Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning.

 

Coach Berry then went on to help co-found the Warrior Strength and Conditioning Program at Wakefield High School, where he worked with high school athletes for four years before moving on to DeSimone Fitness for two years. He decided to take his training expertise and open his own training facility in January 2016—BEarFit Training Systems. He has coached football and indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field at Wakefield High School for 12 years and has coached and trained student athletes to league, state, New England and national championships. Coach Berry is USATF Level 1 certified, is currently studying for his CPPS, and is continually looking to further his education to develop new skills and techniques to help athletes attain their fitness goals. 

Coach Berry is passionate about strength and conditioning and is dedicated to helping student athletes reach their athletic goals. He has worked with numerous athletes varying in sport and skill level and prides himself on being able to adapt every workout to the individual needs and goals of each athlete.

How the New System Works is as follows all classes are 1 hour in length

Types of Classes for Athletes to be Offered

Strength Class- This class will begin with a 10 min warmup specific to the lift of that particular day and then approx 40 mins of lifting and core work followed by 10 mins of metabolic conditioning.

Performance Class- This class will begin with a well rounded mobility warmup to prepare the body for the xplosive nature of this class. We will be doing speed work, agility work with cones and ladders, plyometrics with boxes and hurdles, and targeted conditioning work.

Yoga for Sports Recovery- This class will be added 1 -4 days per week depending on demand and availability of the instructors.

Step 1 Determine for the amount of classes you would like to take per week

Step 2 Check wit coach weekly about schedule and pick and choose the classes you want to take multiple classes and times available every day

Step 3 After Training go DOMINATE the competition!

Adult Functional Classes

 

There are Now 4 Options for Adult Training

Option 1 Is Customized online training

Price is $40 Per Month

This includes a consultation and then 4 weeks of programming made specifically for you based on your goals!

Option 2 IS a General Gym Membership

Price is $40 Per Month

This allows you access to a specialized gym with a capped membership number where you complete your own workouts

Option 3 Is Month to Month Unlimited Programming

Price is $100 Per Month or $10 Per Session (if you only want specific days IE 1 day per week or 2 we can make a package deal)

This Allows you access to a specialized gym and a custom program provided by me that you do on your own with my assistance as needed

These workouts generally take 1 hour to complete and you are welcome to come and complete these workouts at any time the gym is open. This is a good option for those who cant make scheduled classes but still need assistance in creating a long term program for success.

Option 4 is Month to Month Unlimited Specialized Adult Training

Price is $175 Per Month or $15-$18 Per Session (if you only want specific days IE 1 day per week or 2 we can make a package deal)

This package is for scheduled classes that have a coach teaching the class the entire time!
